		<description>Juice is absorbed into the bood stream very quickly.  It doesn't need to go through the digestion process that a whole food would, therefore it could raise the blood sugar levels.  Dr. Christopher said to chew your juices and drink your solids.  This insures that you get the enzymes from the saliva mixed in with the juice to help dilute and break it down.</description>

This past Christmas I received a juicer, which I use every day, usually mixing a combo of carrot, beet and apple juice. I eat tons of raw fruit and veg in my regular diet also My blood sugar levels have sky rocketed!  Do you think the sugar levels in carrots are cause for concern?</description>
