I would like to know more about what the chapparal does with this cleanse. Can it be taken in capsule form or does it need to be a tea? What are the quantities recommended? Should this cleanse, in addition to the extended herbal cleanse, be done for the full six weeks, or only three, with a one week break, and then start up again? Also, are we to drink a quart of Yarrow tea with the bath? And with the blood stream formula that contains chapparal do I need to add more? Thank you for helping me understand this so I can get the full benefits from this cleanse!

To answer Mary Ann's question: We do not advocate taking any type of clay internally. Not enough research has been done as to the consequences of the practice. David says "We are plant eaters not rock eaters."

To answer Peters question: As healers we evolve over time as to the effectivess of suggestions made. We have come to the conclusion that the present suggestions are more complete than earlier ones. I don't have the formula for the Heavy Mineral Bugleweed Combination but if I were to guess it would be 3 parts Cliantro, 3 parts Bugleweed, 2 parts Yellowdock and one part Lobelia. Bugleweed and Cilantro are very important to extract mercury from the body.

Chapparal is very very nice herb. It would be a great addition to the regimin.

This article recommends 6 capsules Bugleweed/day and epsom salts bath once per week. In School of Natural Healing book, it sounds like the recommended procedure is 2 capsules Bugleweed combo + 18 capsules Chaparral per day, and epsom salts bath every other day for 6 weeks.

I'd rather avoid the Chaparral (taste) and 1 bath / week is more doable than every other day - but I also want the most effective results to deal with some nasty mercury toxicity / residue. The full cleansing procedures helped some, but there's still a lot that didn't get pulled out.

3 questions: - Why the change in procedure - is the chaparral not really necessary/helpful?
                       - And is one procedure more helpful than the other for mercury etc?
                       - I usually make/mix my own herbs. Would you state the relative proportions of
bugleweed, yellow dock and lobelia for me?

Thanks

I WAS WONDERING IF TAKING CALCIUM BENTINITE MONTMORILLUM CLAY OR TERRAMIN CLAY ON A DAILY BASIS WOULD LEAD TO ACUMALATION OF MINERALS IN THE BODY. ONLY IF TAKING ONE HEAPING TEASPOON ADAY?

I have a question about the herbal metal detox regime. You did not indicate HOW LONG to sit in the hot Epsom salt bath.

Amie,

You can do the extended herbal cleanse and the metal tox capsules.

Instructions for the extended herbal cleanse can be found in the 3 Day Cleanse Booklet, available here:
