I was wondering on how to mix the slippery elm powder and licorice root powder for bleeding bowels and watery bowels as mentioned in the February 4th article. I am experiencing the same symptoms as the woman in the article. Also, is it safe while breastfeeding? Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you.

Slippery Elm is a very soothing and healing herb. It is recommended any time there is inflammation. It has been used to heal, sooth and nourish any conditions of the bowels where there is inflamation, bleeding, diarrhea, etc.

What about the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) not closing completely, causing GERD? I had a stricture in my esophagus caused by it. I also had inflammation in the intestines that was undiagnosable and treated like lymphocytic colitis.

When should Slippery Elm NOT be used? Does it interact negatively with any pharmaceutical products?

Great article!
