Last July I went on vacation with my sister who is an RN up in Washington. She had an outbreak of shingles...very painful and itchy! I convinced her to try a poultice of slippery elm and she was amazed at the relief! She just brought it up again the other day that she couldn't believe how well it worked! It still went through it's cycle, but the slippery elm made it tolerable. Success!!!
