In response to (Sherry) When talking about honey and molasses, yes both are sources of natural sugar and for individuals who have a problem with sugar (such as those with diabetes) these two supplements should be used with caution absolutely!

In response to (Debby) Gluten is a protein that is found in a lot of carbohydrates and Wheat germ oil is fat, therefore you should not have gluten in wheat germ oil. However, if you are an ultra sensitive individual suffering with celiacs disease and a manufacturer is not careful you could notice an inflammatory response. There are on the market wheat germ oils that do specify they are gluten free and for individuals working through celiacs disease I would recommend trying these guaranteed “gluten-free” wheat germ oils.

In response to (Melissa) Cayenne has been used by many Master Herbalist and individuals around the world with incredible success for a myriad of ailments and conditions including those of the stomach. The references you have mentioned have been researched and have no link to a valid article nor do the sites mentioning this warning have a valid connecting reference that we have been able to trace for further information on this claim. If anything current research is looking at the positive aspects of cayenne in treating countries with high-disease rates.

I'm a student of the SNH (although I haven't been active due to personal reasons), and I've been taking 1 tsp of cayenne in a glass of water at least 2x a day (sometimes more) for over a year now. I just came across something on the internet that mentioned that it has been known that people in Mexico who overused cayenne ended up with stomach cancer. I know that Dr. Christopher was healed from drinking the cayenne tea and was a big advocate of cayenne. Thank you for your response and please continue to spread the knowledge and be a blessing to others.

I have always wondered if wheat germ oil is gluten-free, and whether it is best to avoid for a celiac. Thanks, in advance.

Both molasses and honey are sugar. What about the effects of taking 3 Tbls. of each per day on sugar levels? Is this something a person should be cautious of if they already have a problem with sugar?

Thank you.

Michelle,

Some people don't like the taste of wheat germ oil, some don't mind it. It's hard to explain the taste. Some people choose to take it in capsule format so it is easier to take. You don't have to take it with food.

What are the benefits of the honey? Is it just to make the ACV more palatable or does it have its own specific nutritional/health advantages?

Thanks.
